MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude connect securely to external systems and data. Fleetify exposes an MCP server alongside its REST API, so operators can ask their AI assistant about compliance status, services due, fuel tax credits or vehicle locations — with role-based permissions and a full audit trail.

Where a REST API is built for developers writing code, an MCP server is built for AI agents: the assistant discovers the available fleet data and actions, asks in plain English, and Fleetify enforces the same tenant isolation and permissions as the web app.
